Post by Davidgoodes » Sun Aug 12, 2018 9:55 pm

Hi I'm a new member and looking at purchasing on site Could you confirm if these apartments are freehold or lease hold
I'm looking at buying on site and was thinking of coming over to view
So I would like to stay on site for 7 nights
My dates I can travel are
21/8/18 - 26/8/18 there are two adults
So I need some help in renting an apartment please get in touch if you have anything
Thanks in advance

The properties at Las Terrazas are covered by Spanish Horizontal Property Law which is similar to leasehold in that you are bound by the articles of the association of the community and you are obliged to pay community fees but there is no landlord and you don't pay ground rent.

Hi thanks for your response
Does that mean you own the property for x amount of years like you do in the uk , then you have to apply for an extension and pay for that
Any advice is appreciated
Thanks

No, as there is no landlord, you own the property but as it is a part of a block of apartments and wider community you are obliged to contribute to the upkeep of the communal parts.

Probably best to ask on the owner's facebook page. Sue Keeping manages a few rental properties.
